7 New Fragrances Fall 2020 W/Purchasing Tips
What’s poppin my loves!!! If you don’t know, I love to smell good, I mean who doesn’t? For those of you who might be in search of a new fragrance or even a first-time fine fragrance buyer, I compiled a list of all the new scents that are out right now. I included new men’s scents as well because I personally do not believe in gender lines when it comes to fragrances, if it smells good, it smells good. With that being said, let's jump right in.
New from Gucci:
Gucci Bloom Profumo Di Fiori $130: Gucci’s Bloom collection is one of their most popular collections. The new Gucci Bloom Profumo Di Fiori contains notes of tuberose, ylang ylang, and sandalwood. It has the same floral scent of the original Bloom, but in my opinion not as heavy as the original.
Gucci Guilty Eau De Parfum $120: This is an OG men’s fragrances that has been revamped. The Pour Homme Gucci Guilty Fragrance is one that has been around for a while and over the years has developed a cult following. Gucci has decided to make their OG fragrance stronger and bolder. Now, the Gucci Guilty fragrance is in Eau De Parfum, which means they contain oils that helps the scent last even longer than it did before. The notes are fresh rose, hot chili pepper, lavender, orange blossom, cedarwood, and of course, Gucci’s favorite notes patchouli.
New from Marc Jacobs:
Marc Jacobs Perfect $128: Marc Jacobs is known for their daisy collection which includes various floral scents, but perfect is the perfect addition to the Marc Jacobs fragrance line. Perfect contains notes of rhubarb, daffodil, almond milk, and cashmeran. This is absolutely PERFECT!
New from YSL:
YSL Mon Paris Intensement $128: YSL’s Mon Paris collection is for sure a fan favorite. Personally, one of my top 10 favorite fragrances, the new YSL Mon Paris Intensement is just that, INTENSE. With notes of black currant, rose, and white notes, this has the same floral vibes as the original Mon Paris.
Black Opium Neon $115: Just like the Mon Paris collection, Black Opium is a favorite of many. This Black Opium Neon is a remix of the original. The notes are neon coffee, orange blossom, and dragon fruit. This one is in the family of warm and spicy which makes it perfect for fall.
New from Burberry:
Burberry Her London Dream $124: The Her collection from Burberry happens to be one of my favorites. The Burberry Her London Dream is a spin on the original but this one includes notes of lemon, ginger, peony, and rose. I think this one is perfect for fall as well.
New from Giorgio Armani:
Giorgio Armani My Way $126: It’s been a while since we got a new fragrance from Armani, but here it is. My Way contains notes of bergamot, orange blossom, jasmine, tuberose, vanilla, white musks, and cedarwood. As you can see from the notes, this is a very floral fragrance, but I think the vanilla and cedarwood helps balance out the floral notes.
Some quick shopping tips:
· Fragrance RARELY goes on sale, so always be sure there isn’t a sell coming up prior to going to purchase any fragrances.
· Always ask if there are gifts that go along with the fragrances you are purchasing. Typically, companies include gift with purchase, especially when there is a new fragrance launch. ALWAYS ASK, but do not be pushy because gifts are usually extremely limited.
· Ask for samples to go along with purchase. Usually the fragrance specialist will include any samples that are available but be sure to ask. Samples are a good way to try out new fragrances and have a little something for your purse.
· Ask if the vendor or rep for that brand is available. Companies hire vendors to help sell their products in store. Vendors tend to have goodies that the store does not have, and they know more about the products than the store employee.
I hope this helps you with choosing the right fragrance for you. If you like these types of posts, please let me know in the comment section. Happy shopping my loves!
