BAQ Beauty Reviews: A Complete Guide to Bliss Skincare

Updated: May 28, 2020

A few weeks ago, I was looking for some good skincare that I could get at a local store due to Ulta and Sephora being closed at the time. I have tried out a few Bliss products in the past and enjoyed them, so I decided to expand and try some other products from their line. This post will be a full comprehensive review of some highly rated products from Bliss skincare. Let us jump right in…

Some background information on Bliss:

Bliss first started in 1996 and first originated as a spa that provided ingenious products along with a positive vibe. The company then went on to create innovative products that provided skin-loving ingredients that were not only the best quality but an awesome price as well. All products from Bliss are vegan, cruelty free, and free of parabens and other bad stuff we do not want on our skin.

Here is a full list of products I have tried from Bliss:

Mighty Marshmallow Bright & Radiant Whipped Mask $12.99: This product is one that packs a lot of claims that all say to brighten the skin, leaving it with a radiant glow that everyone is looking for. This product also claims to offer a surge of hydration to the skin and is hypoallergenic, tested by dermatologists, and good for all skin types. After trying this product for about two weeks I can say that his definitely lives up to all the big claims it has. This mask was a little different as this was the first time, I used a whipped mask that worked. The mask does a great job at brightening my skin while at the same time offering some much-needed hydration that I have been in desperate need of lately. The mask is super light, so it fills like you do not have anything on your face which is nice. I agree that this mask is for all skin types.

Serums & Moisturizers:

Renew & Smooth Glycolic + Polyhydroxy Acid Night Serum $22.99: This product claims to be a spa-powered resurfacing serum that works overnight to dissolve dull and dead skin cells revealing a super smooth and glowing skin. Now there a lot of serums on the market that contain glycolic acid(which is a chemical formula that is typically used to treat acne scars, discoloration, and signs of aging) and most of them all do the trick when it comes to smoothing and brightening the skin, so what makes this product so different? Well, as a person who has tried tons of glycolic type of products, I can say that this one is one of the best ones I have tried. I was a little weary about trying this product out because I was not sure it would be a good product but boy was I wrong. I apply it at night and when I wake in the morning my skin looks radiant and smooth. If you deal with dull, dry, lackluster skin I highly suggest you pick this up.

Drench & Quench Moisturizer $19.99: Based on the claims this is a moisturizer that is supposed to be the one that every dry skin girl craves. This product claims to be an ultra-lightweight moisturizer that will transform into water upon contact. Claims to surge the skin with 10,000 marine micro-droplets for an intense, weightless, all day hydration. This bad boy here completely amazed me. When I applied it to my skin, I immediately felt the instant hydration and it did in fact last ALL DAY. It felt like my skin was being drenched with water but yet it did not dry like normal water would. My skin looked and felt hydrated. What makes this even better is that it is for all skin types as it is weightless enough for oily skin types but hydrating enough for dry skin types.

Eye Cream:

Ex-glow-sion Radiance-Boosting Eye Cream with Vitamin C $19.99: This eye cream is infused with vitamin C and niacinamide which are both known for having brightening effects. This product also claims to be ultra-hydrating and absorbs in a flash, leaving the eyes bright and luminous. Also claims to be suitable to all skin types. When it comes to eye creams the most important part for me is hydration and this product DELIVERS and I love how bright my under eyes appear since I began using this product. I however do not like the packaging because of the pump expels too much product that i do not need because of the consistency of the formula.

Jelly Glow Peel Gentle Non-Abrasive Exfoliator with Fruit Enzymes $10.99: This peel claims to be a gentle jelly peel that exfoliates the skin by capturing dead skin and dirt. I have been using this product off and on for about a year and a half now and I am in love. This is basically a non-abrasive peel that lifts dead skin and dirt and you can visibly see it happening. My skin always feels soft and renewed.
