Another week, another Monday. The mention of the day can even bring the most stoic of people to their knees. Honestly, I feel bad for Mondays. The only thing that it has done wrong is being the day after the glorious weekend. How about we have a different perspective of Mondays? Here are five ways to make Monday not the most hated day of the week.
Start Monday on the right foot!
- The best way to maximize your Monday is to start on Sunday. I believe wholeheartedly there should be a day of the week that you rest, and for me that’s Sunday. But take a couple of hours aside to plan a bit for the week. Once you have a plan Mondays don’t seem as threatening.
2. Pay it Forward!
- From paying for someone’s meal, coffee or doing someone a favor I love showing kindness. I especially believe that paying it forward on a Monday is extra special. Mondays already have a bad rap, when something good happens on one it can change someone’s whole day around.
- What a better way to make a hated day better than doing something nice for yourself as well! Schedule a massage, get your nails done, cook a fancy dinner. Whatever you do to unwind yourself, do it on a Monday-- I promise it will make it better.
So my beautiful ladies, don’t let the Monday Blues rule over you, kick Monday’s butt and the rest of the week!
