I have always been the oddball in my family, being a introvert in room of extroverts made me feel left out; like that there was an exciting inside joke that everyone got but me. At school it was the same; when everyone loved fashion and boys I loved reading and watching anime. I wasn’t not like the other students (especially the black ones) in my class and it was not a great feeling. Back then diversity was not as celebrated and promoted as it is now and I’m thankful that we are now preaching to love yourself as you are and who you were created to be.
Never forget you are a unique individual with personalized traits and characteristics, so how you go about things can be totally different from someone else. That doesn’t make you wrong, it only means that it is just another beautiful way to get to your goals. If you have a goal or dream it's okay to research how other people do it to get an idea, but remember your journey will be unique to you and that has to be something you’re okay with. It may take you five years while another person it took two; but you may have needed those extra three years to cultivate your character or refine your brand. Do not be afraid or discouraged if the travel to get to your dream is unorthodox or strange, there is a reason for every pit stop and obstacle.
Have a Wonderful Week Queens! Stay motivated, ambitious and most importantly stay odd! Your unique journey has a story that needs to be told to help motivate others!
