For the last two weeks I have begun to implement positive affirmations into my morning routine. Not only have I noticed a MAJOR difference in my overall mental health but also in my day to day life. Prior to this I woke up feeling anxious, frustrated, and even sad; but being that I am so busy all the time those emotions made it difficult for me to get things done during my day. Today I wanted to pass this along to you all in hopes that it will help you make the most of your day.
Makes you feel good throughout the day. The world is filled with negative things and people and we can try to do everything we can to avoid it but sometimes we cannot. By spending time in the morning filling your spirit with positive words you are creating an armor of positivity that helps you combat the negative things you may experience throughout the day.
Keeps you productive throughout the day. Ever just had a moment in your day where you just don’t want to do anything? I noticed that whenever I feel that lazy bug coming along I remember my affirmations and then I get the energy and motivation to continue your day.
Helps you sleep better at night. If you suffer from anxiety like I do, then you know sometimes this makes it hard for you to fall asleep at night. The racing thoughts can cause you to worry about things that shouldn’t matter. By implemented positive affirmations in your morning routine you keep your mind focused throughout the day which leads to less annoying thoughts at night.
It inspires you to make the most of your day. Life can be a drag and it is easy to hit a wall, but positive affirmations helps you make the most of any situation and find inspiration from it.
Holds you accountable. It is easy to blame external situations for the reasons your day is going bad BUT positive affirmations help you be accountable for your role in your day. It gives you a reminder of what you said to yourself that morning.
