Life is filled with highs and lows and hopefully in your life the highs are longer than the lows. Nevertheless, both WILL happen so the goal is to be able to cope with both. But what if your down days are seemingly getting longer and longer and it’s affecting your mental health? Where you are sleepy, tired, emotional or even lacking emotion? Or things that you use to enjoy you have no interest in anymore?
You could just be wearing yourself then, (self-care girl!) or this could be the start of something more sinister. It could be the start of depression; the most important thing to remember is if you have thoughts of hurting yourself or others please seek help! It may seem like the pain will never end, but there is always hope in whatever your situation is. You are not the things that scare you or haunt you, your identity is not in your mental illness, your sickness or your down days. Sometimes you have no choice in the cards you are dealt but you can choose how to play your hand.
Beautiful Queens, you are loved, you are cherished and you deserved peace and joy because you exist. Don’t let anyone, especially yourself talk you out of that.
