I have personally been using Vitamin C in my skincare regimen for about two years now and it has made a HUGE difference in the overall appearance of my skin. I often rave about Vitamin C but I think a lot of people know what it is or what it does for the skin so today we are going to fill your little noggin up with tons of information regarding Vitamin C and how to properly use it. Let’s get it poppin!
What is Vitamin C?
Vitamin C is considered to be an ascorbic acid that promotes healing and helps the body absorb iron. Vitamin C can also be found naturally in various fruits and veggies like citrus, red and green peppers, broccoli, and various greens.
But sis, how does this work on the skin?
Now in terms of skincare, vitamin c can be very beneficial. Vitamin C helps with acne scars, discoloration, texture, restore moisture, brightens skin, promote cell turnover, and also can help with signs of aging.
Ok, So How Do I Incorporate Vitamin C into My Skincare Routine?
Serums, Serums, and Serums. I began using Vitamin C in serum form before I began to dabble with any other Vitamin C products.
Good Vitamin C Products I Love:
Mario Badescu Vitamin C Serum $45
Pixi Vitamin C Serum $24
Pixi Vitamin C Juice Cleanser $18
A Few Extra Tips:
Not all Vitamin C is created equally: Be very careful when purchasing Vitamin C products. Not all Vitamin C products are effective, so it is best to do major research prior to purchasing any Vitamin C products.
FOLLOW DIRECTIONS: Yes, I had to put that in all caps because I some of yall do not like to read but please follow directions before using ANY form of Vitamin C products.
